beyond the box

saw this in a discussion group:

“God is the Word & The Word is with God. Tell me if U work in an office & the CEO has his secretary write a letter of instructions for U to follow. Are U saying that you won’t follow these instructions because the CEO did not wrote the letter himself by his own hand? What are secretaries for?
If God created men (which he did), why can’t he put His creation to work in His behalf?
Besides, everything we created we put to work in ours, then what’s wrong with God putting His creation to work in His?”

It’s my treat whenever I’m in Cape Town. When in a strange town, always look at where the locals go. pancho’s stood out because it was FULL on the first evening i came across it, and all the bistro’s cafe’s etc around the area were quiet. Must tell you something…

I watch the sky turn black to blush
Head still spinning from the rush
Of all the things I did the night before

And looking down from my hotel
These dawn-lit streets begin to fill
With memories of you and I

I shake my head to clear the sounds
The traffic horns, the growing crowd
The sun awaking over central park

But still it creeps beneath my skin
